Arg, the XML doesn’t get escaped. Let’s try again:

Nevermind…
By the way, “porn mode” is useful if I want to access a website without my current cookies, e.g. login to Gmail with another account. That way, I don’t have to log out of my current Gmail first and later log back in.
Same for websites that I develop where I need to login quickly with a test account and make sure that current cookies don’t mess up things.
So it’s not only for porn.
If Core isn’t that expensive in SA. Then why have Core dropped the price of their Macbook Pro 13″ 2.26Ghz by R1000.00 last week? They did this with no reason. The US, UK or any other country didn’t dropped their prices? This happened just after the twitter mess up.
@Andre, maybe because they signed a new Futures Exchange Contract at a more favourable rate? RJ stated clearly that they used $1 = R9.10 in the previous contract.
@zatech… If you’re using Ubuntu, why not check out Linux Mint (=Ubuntu+Addons), so you don’t have to to and search for codecs etc.
If these shows were a batting average you fellows would be in the Hall of Fame… which would be a shame, because I don’t think they allow podcasts in there and you likely don’t understadn baseball at all.
I think an important point to keep an eye on, which you touched on with both RICA and the Mobile BB discussion is that carriers “out here” have sold subscribers a pig in a poke with these “unlimited” BB data plans and the vultures are coming home to roost soon. There’s got to be a better way to run a railroad than saying you can have as much as you want, and then later trying to correct the mistake to define the limits of unlimited.
If Brett can’t be at Symposium next month, can we make one of those cardboard cutouts of him to sit at the table with us? Maybe we could strap on a little iPod w/speakers and have it drop the F-bomb every six minutes or so. Then I’d feel right at home.
Hey guys, just a thought: there is a 4K price difference between the price of the entry level Macbook Pro in SA and the UK and no one can for the life of me explain that. Also, there is no import duty in laptops or desktops. There is only VAT and no extra cost. I think the argument falls flat when you say everyone else rips us off so it’s okay that Core does the same. I’d like to think we’ve done the homework at Stopcore.co.za but I guess maybe we should look into it further.
I do agree though, this is getting old due to so many different opinions and childishness.
I found a podcast of the discussion on 702 about core and C.A.B!
You can download the podcast here http://www.pod702.co.za/podcast/bestofredi/20090629BESTREDIB.mp3
